Peg Reese received a J.D. from the City University New York School of Law and a B.A. in liberal arts from the New School for Social Research in New York. Ms. Reese served in government as a legislative aide in the New York State Assembly and as Assistant Chief of Staff for Health and Human Services for the Suffolk County (NY) Executive. Ms. Reese lived and worked in New Orleans from 1992 to 2006 where she was a staff attorney for Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, executive director for UNITY for the Homeless and executive director of the Literacy Alliance of Greater New Orleans. She taught undergraduate and graduate courses in public policy at Tulane University and the University of New Orleans. Upon re-locating to Tampa in 2006, Ms. Reese was executive director of Mary Lee’s House, a child protection and advocacy center. Previously licensed to practice law in New York State and Louisiana, Ms. Reese is presently licensed to practice law in Florida. She joined the Supervisor of Elections office in February 2009.
Angeline Cunningham, Director of Operations and Support Services
Angeline Cunningham joined the Supervisor of Elections office in June of 2002, and she has extensive experience in numerous areas within the organization. Prior to her appointment as Director of Operations and Support Services in 2013, Ms. Cunningham oversaw Vote By Mail operations and Early Voting. She also established and implemented multi-faceted training programs for election day and early voting poll workers. Ms. Cunningham’s experience and expertise includes voter registration database management, eligibility and list maintenance. Ms. Cunningham is a 12½ year resident of the Tampa Bay area having lived abroad for much of her childhood.
Lyle A. Roberts, Director of Community Services
Lyle Roberts joined the Supervisor of Elections office in October of 2009 as the Elections Coordinator. He served in that position until May of 2011 when he was assigned the position of Director of Operations. In 2013, he assumed the duties of Director of Community Services. Prior to working with the Elections Office Lyle worked for 35 years in law enforcement. He began his career with the Florida Highway Patrol and after six years changed employment to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Lyle retired from the Sheriff’s Office as a Lieutenant finishing his career as a supervisor in the Criminal Investigations Division. One of his proudest accomplishments was assisting with the transition of Child Protective Investigations from the Department of Children and Families to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Lyle served on the Board of Directors for The Spring of Tampa Bay and was an Executive Board Member of the Family Justice Center of Hillsborough County. Lyle is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a B.A. and a M.A. in Education.
Andrew W. Alexandre, Director of Financial Operations/HRAndrew Alexandre was born in New York, New York in 1946. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1966 (Honorable Discharge). Mr. Alexandre graduated from University of Tampa in 1970 with a B.S. degree in Sociology. He retired from State of Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) in 2005 after 35 years of service. During the last ten years with DJJ, Mr. Alexandre was Chief of Administrative Services and was responsible for development and implementation of budgets up to $170 million. He also directed all Administrative functions within the Central Region. Since January 2009, Mr. Alexandre has directed the financial functions of the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office.
